What Is Dylan’s Hope Foundation?

Dylan’s Hope Foundation was founded in 2018 by Dylans’ family to honour the memory of Dylan who tragically lost his life to an overdose on January 17, 2017, and to bring awareness to Substance use and overdose prevention.

Dylan's Hope Foundation is excited to invite local organizations, agencies, and community groups to participate in our 8th Annual Overdose Awareness, Prevention & Remembrance Event on Friday, August 28, 2026. Held in partnership with International Overdose Awareness Day, this year's theme is: Guiding Hope: A Light for Every Journey.

We're looking for organizations to be part of our Community Wellness & Resource Fair, where you can connect with community members, share your programs and services, build partnerships, and help ensure people know where to turn for support. Together, we'll create an evening of education, remembrance, hope, and connection featuring:

• Community Wellness & Resource Fair

• Naloxone Training & Free Kits

• Guest Speakers

• Interactive Support Stations

• Awareness March

• Candlelight Vigil

• Memorial & Remembrance Activities

• 2026 Lives Lost Tribute Video & Light Display

Memorial Bench Donation Progress

We are currently raising money for a memorial bench to be placed in Leduc, for family and friends of loved ones to have a place to go to feel closer to their loved one that has been lost. If you would like to donate towards this cause you can e-transfer to: dylanshopefoundation@gmail.com
